WHAT WE BELIEVE

Columbia Christian Church is a New Testament Christian Church that believes the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for all matters of faith, truth, morality, and life (Romans 15:4; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Timothy 3:16).  As a restoration church, these truths don't change.

We Believe...

...in one God–Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

...in the Holy Spirit who is received through baptism to dwell within every Christian, who convicts us of sin, who intercedes for us in prayer, and who empowers all Christians in our walk with Christ.

...in Jesus Christ, God's only Son and the Savior of the world, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified and buried to rise, alive, on the third day for the salvation of all.  He will return one day and He is the ONLY path to eternal life with God.

...the Bible teaches God's plan for salvation to receive Jesus as Savior:  believe in Christ as God's Son and Savior of the world, repent of personal sin, confess Christ as Lord, and be immersed in baptism for the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit.

...the Bible teaches that God intends for marriage to be a monogamous, life-long loving relationship between a man and a woman and that His design for sex is exclusively within the context of a Biblical marriage.
